Ingredients

  • 1 sheet vanilla sponge cake (approx. 9×13 inches)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
  • 23 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam (optional)
  • 1/4 cup melted white chocolate (optional)


Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  • Lay the sponge cake flat on parchment paper and trim edges to form a rectangle.
  • Spread strawberry jam over the cake, then layer whipped cream evenly on top.
  • Arrange sliced strawberries near the edge closest to you.
  • Carefully roll the cake forward using the parchment paper, creating a log.
  • Wrap the roll and chill for 45–60 minutes.
  • Slice into 1-inch pieces, garnish with chocolate or powdered sugar, and serve.
