Ingredients
- 1 sheet vanilla sponge cake (approx. 9×13 inches)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
- 2–3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp strawberry jam (optional)
- 1/4 cup melted white chocolate (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Lay the sponge cake flat on parchment paper and trim edges to form a rectangle.
- Spread strawberry jam over the cake, then layer whipped cream evenly on top.
- Arrange sliced strawberries near the edge closest to you.
- Carefully roll the cake forward using the parchment paper, creating a log.
- Wrap the roll and chill for 45–60 minutes.
- Slice into 1-inch pieces, garnish with chocolate or powdered sugar, and serve.
